Quick & Easy Duck Confit

Started as a friendly competition between ourselves, The Cook-Off has evolved into an avenue for us to challenge ourselves to cook dishes both innovative and technically different from the food that we normally eat. Since then we’ve set a theme for each week and have gone on to cook some delicious dishes. Each season spans a semester of school and with the winter holidays now Season 1 has concluded with Season 2 drawing near in just a few more weeks!

Nonetheless, we thought we’d share some of the more outstanding dishes with you guys. Get ready for features of the best of Season 1 of The Cook-Off! Today, Duck Confit!!!

This duck confit recipe is truly a gem to remember, for it is so easy and requires hardly any active time at all! Some may argue that a good duck confit takes several hours to cook, and while that is probably true, this one still turns out pretty decent (really good actually) and satisfying. Duck confit in 2 hours, does it hurt to try?
